Outplacement coaching is a service that meets the criteria for statutory change security and is designed to support organizations and employees in restructuring situations that lead to workforce reductions.
Through our high-quality Outplacement Coaching, we ensure that employees affected by redundancy find sustainable employment solutions as quickly and effectively as possible.
Outplacement coaching is typically delivered as one-on-one coaching, though it may begin with a short group session. Participants receive personalized support in identifying their strengths, showcasing their skills, and gaining comprehensive guidance tailored to their goals — whether that means finding new employment, pursuing further studies, entering rehabilitation, or starting a business. Each participant is supported by a dedicated career coach who helps them discover clear, forward-looking solutions and secure their place in the working life of the future.
By choosing us as a partner, your organization ensures that the restructuring process is managed responsibly and with respect for people. Our extensive experience in supporting the employment of individuals with partial work ability allows us to provide guidance also to those facing work ability challenges. This helps keep pension-related risks under control and ensures that the employer fulfills its responsibilities. When handled responsibly, restructuring measures also have a positive impact on maintaining and strengthening the employer brand.
Who is Outplacement Coaching for?
The coaching is intended for individuals whose employment has ended as a result of organizational restructuring.
With the help of coaching, it becomes easier to navigate change, identify and articulate one’s strengths, and build a focused job search process. Our service provides participants with a clear understanding of what successful job seeking requires and which strategies are most effective in finding a new direction. Together with their coach, each participant develops an action plan — and, most importantly, puts it into practice — enabling them to secure employment in a role and organization that truly fit their skills and aspirations.
Benefits of the Service
The coaching process always begins with the participant’s individual situation, goals, and needs. Together, the participant and coach build a solid foundation for effective job searching, with the coach providing continuous support throughout the entire transition. With professional guidance, it becomes easier to clarify one’s interests, strengths, and professional skills — making it simpler to target the right opportunities. Working with a coach often helps shift perspectives as well, opening up new possibilities for career development and strengthening one’s personal brand.
The coaching process motivates and activates participants — turning job seeking into a focused and goal-oriented journey. With our support, concrete job search efforts start efficiently, and employment in roles aligned with the participant’s goals becomes more structured and faster. With their coach’s guidance, participants develop a personalized job search strategy, explore career options, and learn modern job search techniques, including how to use social media effectively in the process. They also gain practical tools for building online visibility and being discovered by potential employers. Through our service, participants gain a clearer understanding of their market value and receive tailored support in preparing for interviews and employment negotiations.
Service Kickoff
Before starting the service, we agree with the employer on the use of the service, including the overall duration, scope, and number of coaching hours. Once we receive confirmation from the employer to begin, we contact the participant to arrange the first coaching session. At the start of the coaching process, we establish practical guidelines and discuss the participant’s expectations, wishes, and goals. In addition to in-person meetings, the coaching can also be conducted remotely.
People with Partial Work Ability
If the group of employees being made redundant includes individuals with partial work ability, it’s important to discuss their situation early in the change security partnership. This allows us to take their needs into account when designing the coaching program.
